Our Vision for the Future is taking shape

Richard Landsberg

As we enter the 2016 fiscal year, McLintocks Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors are pleased to announce the promotion of Richard Landsberg to Director in its Wirral office as part of its ongoing investment in local specialist staff and of its ‘Vision for the Future’.

An experienced Chartered Accountant, Richard started his career in 2003 with another Wirral based practice, having completed his degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2007, Richard joined McLintocks where he quickly progressed, displaying his knowledge in accountancy, auditing and taxation, to provide a ‘complete service’ to a wide variety of clients.

These clients range from business start-ups and small owner managed businesses to multimillion pound turnover group companies with foreign subsidiaries.

Certain businesses benefit from a more involved role. In this capacity, Richard prepares monthly management accounts, provides support with day-to-day business issues and assists with future growth and development plans.

Being one of the Firm’s I.T. specialists, Richard assists clients with the implementation of new accounting systems and gives advice on streamlining business processes by way of incorporating information technology. He has experience in many types of accounting packages including Sage and the increasingly popular cloud based solutions, such as KashFlow.

Richard also recently oversaw the implementation of the firm’s own STAR payroll software which allows us to be at the cutting edge of payroll requirements for our clients, especially since the onset of Pension Auto-Enrolment.

In 2013, Richard became Governor of a local high school and provides financial advice to the Governing Body. He is currently Chair of the Finance Committee.
