Everton Free School
Everton Alternative Provision Free School opened in September 2012. At the time, the School faced many significant strategic and operational challenges. This was not unusual for a new School set up by a new Free School Trust. The most significant challenge was the lack of a funding model for alternative provision at the time. Although the School received Set-up and Start-up grants, arrangements for per student funded were not yet in place.
The School and the board received exceptional levels of support from McLintocks through Paul McGerty who navigated a clear and well-structured approach to managing finances in such difficult circumstances. Paul’s diligence in respect of compliance and careful budgeting was invaluable. He ensured controls were developed quickly and that we were able to establish systems and protocols quickly and efficiently.
Paul has a composed yet authoritative manner. He was widely and regularly acknowledged as a key contributor to the effective setting up of the School and we are indebted to him and McLintocks for their on-going support and expertise.Request a callback Get directions today
